Lear Corp. is building a new, larger auto parts-making plant in Hammond and moving operations to it when completed next year -- one of the news stories this week included on "Reporters Roundtable."

Today is "Reporter Roundtable" Thursday, where we bring in reporters (and editors) from northwest Indiana area media to talk about their stories this week.  We have Ed Bierschenk, Bill Dolan and Investigative Editor Marc Chase from the "Times" and "Chicago Tribune" reporter Michael Hawthorne.

The stories include new businesses coming into Gary and Lear Corp.'s plans for a new, larger factory in Hammond -- an East Chicago air polluter who isn't being pushed into quicker cleanup by the Trump-administration U.S. Environmental Protection Agency -- and an investigation into excessive overtime in the Lake County Sheriff's Department, as reported in the "Times."
