Sarah Opat

The name is Sarah Opat. A junior at Purdue Northwest studying Communications and Advertising with a minor in Public Relations. Her talents include jamming on the guitar, ukulele and making art in her basement. Opat's body of work at Lakeshore Public Radio, On the Radar represents her vast interests and upcoming events in the region.

The Lighthouse Restaurant located on Cedar Lake serves up killer steak, seafood, and burgers. Meet one of the chefs behind the madness, Jason Tellado.

Chef Tellado joins Lakeshore's Sarah Opat in a conversation about passion, where he got his start in cooking, and special dinner techniques.

These band members sound like Lynyrd Skynyrd meets Pink Floyd. Busted Knuckles covers a wide range of tunes: Nirvana, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, The Beatles, and Weezer. The story started in the shed that turned into a music oasis now called The Shak.
